How I Made This blog
Getting Started with me Not many people will talk about deploying a blog, in fact the easy route would have probably been to just use squarespeace’s website builder or wordpress. However i decided to take the LONG and tedious route by having a website that is pretty much hosted for dirt cheap and is managed like a mad man. I wanted to create this site as a means for me to go ahead and document what i am doing when it comes to tech and networking, alongside having a full record of everything i did/am doing when it comes to getting my masters degree. There will probably be things that i will write about on here that i would like to explore with others regarding networking, and also things i wish someone else had taught me before going into this. Who am I? Well my name is Grant. I am 21 years old and i am currently going to college for cybersecurity. I work in a beginner level helpdesk role as of writing this, and this blog was deployed by me in a single day after wondering if i could do it. (Spoiler: I could). I grew up in suburbia right around the time of social media starting to take off, social medias first controverseys and the natural evolution of social media evolving into a place where it seems like people spend their time to do nothing except for get mad at eachother. But that is neither here or there, This blog is about my networking related projects. I want to go ahead and begin writing out how i deployed this website sometime in the future, and once i get some more cisco equipment start documenting how i did things like automate the network and also how i routed the network, however for now it may just be packet tracer labs that i share. Posts when? Daily hopefully! I do plan to keep this blog updated daily, and i do look forward to seeing you in the future!
